How Sandford Digital works
1. Capture
Inspectors use a standard mobile device to capture structured evidence in the field. The Property workflow supports addresses, inspection scope, rooms, issues and photographic evidence, and is designed to continue working when connectivity is poor.
2. Bind
Captured evidence is cryptographically bound to its timestamp, GPS data and the previous event in the inspection chain. This creates an ordered, tamper-evident record of capture.
3. Anchor
Cryptographic proof is periodically anchored to a public blockchain. The underlying inspection photographs and personal information are not published to the blockchain.
4. Report
The inspection produces a shareable PDF report with the inspection summary and its Sandford Digital Session ID.
5. Verify
A recipient can scan the report QR code and use Sandford Digital's public Chain-Verification Tool. The verifier reconstructs the evidence chain and checks it against the public anchor.
They do not have to take Sandford Digital's word for it.
